The Sick 66 event, the first time a drag-and-drive will follow Route 66 as the majority of the drive, got underway yesterday at Ozark Raceway Park in Missouri.

After only a few people have entered the 7-second zone naturally aspirated in drag-and-drive events, ‘Fast Eddie’ Ensor definitely opened up the conversation at Sick Summer Presented by TBM Brakes in 2023.
Completing the week with a 7.53 average, along with a best single pass of 7.46 at 184 mph, Ensor set the record for Naturally Aspirated classes, and 2024 shows he’s coming for more.

There are some events that have that ‘different’ factor; that ‘no one has ever done it before’ hits you, and makes you want to participate. Tomorrow, we start a ‘one-time only’ event – Edelbrock Sick 66, which will cover over 1,300 miles, visit more than 30 checkpoints, and witness racing action at six different tracks!
How to Navigate Edelbrock Sick 66 Using Ride With GPS
Edelbrock Sick 66 features a road journey of over 1300 miles. Given we are trying to spend as much of this event as possible on Route 66, navigation can be somewhat complicated! Fortunately racers will have plenty of information available. The directions are featured in the Edelbrock Sick 66 event program for those who like to navigate using print, but for a very handy turn-by-turn experience we will be using the Ride With GPS app.

Raceweek Wrap – Rocky Mountain Race Week 2.0 Crowns Champions in Texas
Spanning two states, four tracks and just over 1100 miles on the road, the fifth edition of Rocky Mountain Race Week 2.0 (Raceweek) came to a close back where it started, Pine Valley Raceway in Lufkin, Texas.
The event brings some unique twists for the final day of competition, as well as four classes of heads-up and bracket racing action, and that awaited the souls that made it back to the start of their week-long journey.
