Driven Racing Oil Joins The Adventure for Sick Michigan Miles

When it comes to survival of an engine, almost no component is as important as the motor oil protecting the internal components. In the harsh environment of drag-and-drive, one company has developed oil technology to the next level — Driven Racing Oil.

The Memphis, TN-based company developed its first formulations for NASCAR’s Joe Gibbs Racing team in the early 2000s. Since then, they have broadened their blends into oils suitable for a range of applications, including street and strip vehicles.

Sick Michigan miles is the ultimate Michigan road trip, going on August 10-17th, 2025! We’ll travel 1000 miles around the great state of Michigan, visiting four different tracks, as well as participating in the awesome Woodward Dream Cruise! For more details, including how you can sign up for Sick Ward, as well as individual day tickets, visit www.sickthemagazine.com/michigan-miles.

Sick The Magazine is proud to announce that Driven Racing Oil will be the presenting sponsor of Sick Michigan Miles, being held from August 10-17, 2025 around the great state of Michigan. From the Mackinac Bridge to the Woodward Dream Cruise, it will be a gearhead’s ultimate adventure.

As a partner with Sick, Driven Racing Oil has seen their sales boom as more racers and gearheads find out about the quality of the product. Tom Bailey from Sick The Magazine said Driven Racing Oil was the perfect presenting sponsor for Sick Michigan Miles.

“We’re proud to be putting on an event in our home state and we wanted a partner for the event we could also be proud of,” Bailey said. “Driven Racing Oil makes a quality product and it is one we are more than happy to recommend to our community.”

Recently, Driven Racing Oil was used in Brett LaSala’s Ford Mustang, the winner of Sick Week 2025 Presented By Gear Vendors Overdrive. LaSala set a new Sick Week average record of 6.24 seconds across the five-day event with the stock block Coyote-powered ride.

At the other end of the spectrum, the oil also earned a glowing recommendation from Cleetus McFarland when it restored oil pressure for the tired LS motor in his ‘Cheap Car Challenge’ El Camino. Simply put, Driven Racing Oil can be used at all levels.

For all of us at Driven, being the presenting sponsor for Sick Michigan Miles is a very proud moment,” said Driven Racing Oil’s Bill Alexander. “Being part of the drag-and-drive community has been a great experience for all of us. Sick drag-and-drive events are the ultimate real world testing grounds to prove our products and find areas where new products need to be developed.

“We thank Tom Bailey and all the Sick staff for providing Driven this opportunity to get our name out to anyone involved with the toughest but most rewarding form of racing.”
