Doug Cook realized this vision when he started Motion Raceworks, and the commitment to continue making products that work better and last longer has expanded into three more companies as they headed into 2024.

After getting Motion Raceworks off the ground and successful, the TBM Brakes and Rife Sensors product lines came aboard the train a few years back. Fluidworks is the most recent company added to the Motion line up in 2023, and all four continue to pump out new products while listening to the market on what’s needed to be made.

Weather Grinds FL2K to An Early Halt – Brett LaSala, Doug Cook, Jonathan Atkins and Marcelo Duran Among Those Left in Competition

Two years ago, the popular Bradenton Motorsports Park was hit with a massive amount of wind and rain from Hurricane Ian, and the resulting damage forced the popular FL2K event north to Gainesville Raceway in northern Florida, where it was completed.

This time around, Hurricane Helene skirted the area, but Bradenton Motorsport Park survived the weather to host their FL2K event over the weekend.

As news of another possible race track closure in Florida hit social media last week, new details have emerged about a proposed new racing facility in West Palm Beach, about two hours north. Spearheaded by local enthusiast Madelyn Marconi, the new track idea has been in the works since Palm Beach International Raceway (PBIR) closed.
