Precision Turbo & Engine has been on some of the quickest and fastest rides in racing, and offer several different versions of turbochargers. From entry level and mirror-image turbos, to specific class legal designs for heads-up racing, Precision has several options to choose from.
Precision joined forces with Sick the Magazine as a sponsor of our events for the 2024 season, and looking at the results of from Sick Week and Sick Summer, several competitors put their Precision turbos to good use.
Leading the way at Sick Week with the best et and speed of the event was Jeff Lutz, who jumped back into drag-and-drive with his familiar ‘Mad Max’ Camaro, clocking a best of 6.15 at 247 mph on the first day.
Brett LaSala, who clocked the quickest and fastest passes on a drag radial at this year’s Sick Week, employs a pair of Precision Turbo & Engine Next Gen R turbochargers on his ‘Snot Rocket’ Mustangs.
The ‘Snot Rocket 2.0’ clocked a best of 6.26 at 227 mph, as well as a 6.34 average, to capture the Modified record at Sick Week 2024.
Since then, the Coyote and Precision Turbo & Engine combination has delivered a 6.04 in Brett’s new ‘Snot Rocket 3.0’ at World Cup Final earlier this month. Could a 5-second blast be next?
Another 6-second ride made waves with Precision Turbo & Engine at Sick Summer this year, as Alan Whitaker took his heavyweight 1972 Monte Carlo to a class title.
The 2-ton Chevrolet scored a 6.98 at 205 mph on day two, his first 6-second run, then went on to score the Heavy Metal win with a 7.33 average.
The Cleetus McFarland crew has also employed Precision Turbo & Engine turbochargers on several rides, including the 2-time Midwest Drags winning ‘Mullet’ El Camino, the auction-acquired Corvette known as ‘Ruby,’ and the car that started the channel, ‘Leroy’ the stick-shift Corvette.
These are just some of the rides that employ Precision Turbo on their winning rides. To find out more about the full line up from Precision Turbo & Engine, CLICK HERE!
