TBM Brakes Pre-Party Brings Freedom to Sick Week 2022

The inaugural Sick Week will get off to an early start thanks to TBM Brakes, Motion Raceworks and the Freedom Factory, which will host the official event pre-party on Sunday, February 6.

There will be food, drinks and music from 6pm to 8pm, with Sick Weekers getting the chance to socialize with all the other maniacs who have decided to drive over 800 miles throughout Florida while contesting five days of drag racing.

Doug Cook and fellow drag-and-driver Garrett Mitchell (better known as Cleetus McFarland) recently brought TBM Brakes into their fold, joining a suite of businesses that also includes Motion Raceworks and Rife Sensors.

“We hosted a pre-party before Drag Week in 2017 that was a lot of fun and brought a lot of people into the Motion Raceworks facility in Iowa for the first time,” Doug said. “With the Freedom Factory right next door to Bradenton Motorsports Park we figured it was the perfect spot to host the official Sick Week pre-party and to meet our fellow competitors.”

Sick Week is presented by Gear Vendors Overdrive, with a free live stream to run all week courtesy of Motion Raceworks. Entry to the TBM Brakes Pre-Party is free for Sick Week and Sick Ward entrants, and spectator entry is available at the gate for $5.
