Sick Summer Is Less Than 4 Weeks Away: Updated Registration and Sick Ward Information Is Here!

With the first-ever Sick Summer Presented by TBM Brakes less than a month away, Sick Summer competitors and Summit Racing Equipment Sick Ward Presented by Peak Performance participants are gearing up for a week of drag-and-drive excitement!

An all-star list of mid-America tracks, including Cordova Dragway, Bryon Dragway, Great Lakes Dragaway and Tri-State Raceway are all ready for a week of drag-and-drive competitors, plus the Sick Week group.

In addition to the cool tracks, some of the people expected to make an appearance includes:
Tom Bailey with the Sick Seconds 2.0 ‘69 Chevrolet Camaro, Cleetus McFarland with Mullet the 1987 Chevrolet El Camino, and the Ford Mustang known as McFlurry, Steve Morris in the Boostmaster Buick station wagon, Alex Taylor with her 1955 Chevrolet, and even a Viper in the Unlimited class!

Some of the cool check points will be incorporated into the drivers, including stops at Motion Raceworks, a retro drive-in restaurant, and the real movie site for the Field of Dreams.

If you’re interested in being a part of Sick Summer, the Sick Ward, or purchasing individual spectator tickets, here’s some updated information:

Sick Summer Racers:

If you are a current registered participant and don’t think you can participate in the event due to vehicle and/or parts issues, you can choose to switch to a Sick Ward entry at no additional charge. Otherwise, we would ask you to consider withdrawal so interested parties on the waitlist can have the opportunity to participate.

We currently have about a dozen people on the waitlist for a racer spot at Sick Summer. As most pre-registration events go, as the date draws closer, registered racers start to drop out due to a variety of reasons. We accept new entries off the waitlist as the spots become available. If you want to get on the waitlist, do so as soon as possible, as we accept entries off the waitlist in the order we receive them.

Sick Summer Sick Ward:

We have Sick Ward spots available, providing all the fun of doing the road trip and drag strip visits, plus a bunch of extras! Those include VIP pit parking, daily refreshments and snacks, 2 catered lunches, special edition t-shirts, spectator entry for driver and a passenger for all five days!
