Sick Month Set To Take Drag-And-Drive To The Next Level

Following the runaway success of Sick Week, presented by Gear Vendors Overdrive, Sick The Mag is planning to create the greatest drag racing event in history with the announcement of Sick Month.

Sick The Mag publisher Tom Bailey said that it was a logical step after the feedback from the inaugural Sick Week.

“People were telling us they didn’t want it to end, so we thought, why should it?” he explained. “We decided that Sick Month needed to happen.”

Set to take place from April 1-May 1, 2023, Sick Month will begin in Florida, just like Sick Week, and race at a number of tracks on the way Alaska Raceway Park - a journey of over 4,700 miles. At this point they will turn around and begin the return journey. Thirty days of racing will provide the ultimate test of a street car.

“You know, I’m sick and tired of fools telling me I have a 'Slow Mod’. Sick Seconds 2.0 is a street car. And I’m going to drive to Alaska to prove it,” Bailey added.
