Capone first hit the drag-and-drive scene at Hot Rod Drag Week, and has made quite an impact with its sleeper appearance and consistent performances.
Currently powered by an aluminum 6-liter LS engine LS2 with forged internals and BTR valvetrain, a pair of Trick Flow cylinder heads and a BTR intake provide the air flow from a Forced Inductions 85/102 millimeter T6 turbocharger.
The power passes through a 4L80 overdrive transmission and a Hughes Performance torque converter, and arrives at a Ford 9-inch with 3.50 gears.
Scott has participated in five Hot Rod Drag Week events, earning a top ten finish at each one, and scored a class victory at Rocky Mountain Race Week on his lone visit.
Scott also participated at both editions of Sick Week Presented by Gear Vendors Overdrive, earning a third-place in the Street Race class with an 8.55 average in 2022. He donned the 235 sized tires for 2023 and jumped into the Rowdy Radial eighth-mile class, blocking a best pass of 5.41 at 129 mph in route to completing the week.
Most recently, Scott competed in the fall edition of Southeast Street N Yeet, averaging a 5.65 elapsed time over the week to earn third in the Dial Your Own Yeet class.
