Pilot Transport Brings Over 3 Decades of Vehicle Transport Experience Together with Sick the Magazine to Provide Solutions for Drag-and-Drive Enthusiasts

The explosion of drag-and-drive in the last few years has not only brought more major events to the table, but also several 2-3 day events across the United States.

We have dozens of conversations where competitors talk about wanting to do more than one to two events a year, but lack of time prevents it from happening. But using a vehicle transportation service has become a viable option for many reasons; could drag-and-drive be next?

We pack 200+ pages of awesomeness into each issue of Sick the Magazine, including event coverage, features, guest columns and MUCH MORE! Get the official magazine of drag-and-drive: CLICK HERE to subscribe!

When Pilot Transport joined the Sick the Magazine group, it brought a lot of conversations from competitors about using the carrier. One Sick Week competitor mentioned “saving a couple days going to an event and coming home would give me enough time to possibly do another event in 2025.”

Getting their start in 1988, Pilot Transport was founded in Brighton, Michigan, less than an hour away from Sick the Magazine’s home base. Since then, Pilot has added a location in Phoenix that not only provides customers with round-the-clock support, but also storage for 100 vehicles indoors and a secure lot for 200 more.

If you attended a Sick event this year, no doubt you likely seen a Pilot Transport semi-truck, and it’s helped us with the Sick fleet of vehicles that make the events possible.

During Sick 66, it also helped to get a couple broken competitor vehicles back to Missouri. This is merely a drop in the bucket, as Pilot Transport is part of the United Road family of companies that orchestrates the delivery of over 4 million vehicles every year.
