PFI Speed’s Brent Leivestad Discusses Getting Fined $180,000 by the EPA

With nearly 370,000 subscribers and a growing following, the PFI Speed crew led by Brent Leivestad, have not only elevated the import scene, but created and participated in some truly unique builds.

Brent has participated in multiple drag-and-drives as a co-pilot with Cleetus McFarland on Rocky Mountain Race Week in LeRoy the Corvette, and in 2023 he made the trip to Florida to swap the passenger seat for the driver’s seat on the 2023 edition of Sick Week Presented by Gear Vendors Overdrive.

Brent finished fifth in the Sick Week Freaks class with a 9.83 average behind the wheel of the ‘Freedom’ Honda Civic.

Behind the scenes, Brent has been involved in several things, from participating in a pro import class for the Premiere Street Car Association (PSCA), to having a Honda build catch on fire at the shop. But nothing could have prepared him for one of his biggest tasks; taking on the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

In 1320 Video’s latest episode of 1320 Stories, Brent opens up about becoming a target of the EPA, the future of his shop, and wondering if we are the last generation of enthusiasts to modify cars.
