Motion Raceworks and TBM Brakes Giving Away a 2,000 Horsepower Twin-Turbocharged LS Engine

Everything is getting quicker and faster these days, and drag-and-drive competition is no exception. So when Doug Cook of Motion Raceworks and TBM Brakes is giving away a 2,000 horsepower-capable engine, we’re all ears!

Teaming up with Harrell Engine and Dyno (HED), Motion Raceworks and TBM Brakes will give this LS-twin turbocharged engine away to one lucky entrant. Or, if you’re the lucky name drawn, there’s an option for $25,000 instead!

Pete Harrell at HED did the homework on what they deem the “Big N Nasty” 387 cubic inch LS build, and they start with a LSR 6-bolt aluminum block. The block gets a Callies crankshaft, Wiseco’s Boostline connecting rods and Wiseco pistons for the rotating assembly, with an ATI balancer on the front.

A Moroso pan keeps the oil where it belongs, HED-specs a custom hydraulic camshaft that works in conjunction with Manton pushrods and Johnson lifters, and the block is topped with a pair of Mast Black Label LS3 6 Bolt 255 cc cylinder heads wearing T & D shaft rockers.

The long block is dressed with a Motion Raceworks billet valley cover and a pair of Motion’s billet race valve covers featuring quick release burndowns.

A Holley LS3 lower intake is complemented with a Shearer Fab 1800HP Intercooler upper intake, and one of Motion’s ICON throttle bodies will get the extra atmosphere from a pair of Precision 7675 LS Series cast turbochargers.

Any $5 purchase from the www.MotionRaceworks.com or www.TBMBrakes.com websites before the end of the day on April 30th, 2023 gets you an entry.
