Mikael Borggren Selling His 6-Second Volvo Wagon??

Mikael Borggren’s ’87 Volvo station wagon has done its job to break the mold of “wagons aren’t cool.” Of course, when your wagon is capable of 6-second runs at over 200 mph in the quarter-mile, that doesn’t hurt either.

But recently, Mikael posted on Facebook the Volvo is now for sale!

One of the first cars to make a 6-second at over 200 mph pass on drag radials, Mikael is also one of three drivers to have a 6-second average on a drag-and-drive on drag radials.

The wagon has been on five Hot Rod Drag Week events, winning the 2021 Modified Power Adder title. Mikael has also completed both Sick Weeks, finishing second each time in the Modified class.

While Mikael didn’t elaborate on his future plans if the station wagon sells, one thing is for sure; the Volvo currently holds the quickest average for a station wagon in drag-and-drive competition that’s completed an event.
