Manny Buginga Offers Unique Opportunity to Lease Pro 275 Radial and No Prep Kings Race Cars for 2023

When it comes to getting into the drag racing game, there are lots of options to get involved in the sport, including several drag racing schools you can attend to learn how to drive a race car properly and even get your professional series license.

To go to the next level with a competitive eighth-mile class or No Prep Kings car, and race an event or an entire year-long series, usually involves a sizable investment.

But Manny Buginga is changing the game, as the multi-time series champion is putting two competitive race cars and the teams to back them up for lease in 2023.

On the idea of leasing a competitive race car, Buginga admits he isn’t the first to do it. “Proline Racing does it, and that’s where we got the idea,” Buginga said. “But it’s not widely known, and you’d need to prove you’re qualified to wheel some of their fast cars,” which include drag radial and Pro Mod competitive rides.

“Having Antron jump in the Mustang definitely opened our eyes to the possibility as well,” Buginga continued. “To give someone the chance to drive the car gives back to the racing community, and puts them in top notch equipment.”

That includes the team signing Jamie Miller for the next two years for tuning and set-up, as well as Proline spare engines.

Antron Brown took the Mustang known as “Fred” to a recent win at Bradenton Motorsports Park’s Snowbird Nationals.

“Both rides are in negotiations right now,” said Buginga, who also said he could have an announcement as early as this week. “Someone will have the chance to be in top three spots in any pack this year.”
