Hot Rod Drag Week Announces Tracks and Registration Date for 20th Anniversary Event in 2024

The original drag-and-drive, Hot Rod Drag Week, has released the track line-up for their 20th anniversary of the iconic event that will be held Sunday September 15th through Friday September 20th.

Rumors circulated in December about the Wednesday track location, US 131 Motorsports Park, one of the tracks on the very first Hot Rod Drag Week in 2005. Now, Hot Rod has confirmed that the 2024 edition of Hot Rod Drag Week will take place in four Midwest cities, with US 131 Motorsports Park as one of the four tracks.

Sick Week is just four days away, and we’re bringing this ‘71 Chevy dually pick-up and Harley bike to participate in Sick Ward. You could win this truck and bike combo, PLUS $5000 IN CASH! Click here for more details and get entered to win!

National Trail Raceway, another of the tracks on the very first Hot Rod Drag Week in 2005, will become home base for the 2024 edition of Drag Week. The Hebron, Ohio-based facility will serve as the registration, tech location, and testing spot on Sunday, September 15th, followed by the first day of competition on Monday September 16th.

Day two will take the tour to Indiana and the legendary Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, where competitors will make laps on the same storied grounds where the National Hot Rod Association holds the annual US Nationals on September 17th.

As noted above, the event will move to a third new state in as many days when Drag Week visits US 131 Motorsports Park in Martin, Michigan for day three activities on Wednesday September 18th.

Thursday will keep competitors and enthusiasts in Michigan for a second-straight day, traveling to Milan Dragway for day four racing action.

To complete the week and the circle, Friday brings survivors back to National Trail Raceway in Ohio for the final day for racing, crowning class champions and recognizing those that completed the week.

Taking the trackside and live stream audience through the week will be the announcing team staple of Brian Lohnes and David Freiburger. New to the team for 2024 is veteran car enthusiast and former Drag Week competitor KJ Jones, who will bring all the stories from the pits to the airwaves.

Registration for Hot Rod Drag Week usually sells out in a matter of minutes, and this year will open on Saturday, February 24th at 9 a.m. Eastern Standard Time.

Hot Rod Drag Week will also bring back the Drag Pack ticket program for 2024. The ticket includes entry for one car, one driver, and one passenger for all HOT ROD Drag Week venues (Monday, Sept. 16 through Friday, Sept. 20). Drag Pack ticket holders will get to park in the pits or in premier areas, have suite access and lunch at one venue (to be determined) during the week, and receive one gift item per vehicle. Children ages 12 and under can enter with their family for free.
