The Winner of the Sick The Mag Ute Is Chosen – What’s Our Next Giveaway?

At Sick The Magazine, we’ve had some cool giveaways in just over eighteen months. It all started in early 2023 with the announcement of our first giveaway vehicle, an Edelbrock supercharged Chevrolet Tahoe featuring a special Sick the Mag wrap.

Our fourth and latest vehicle giveaway was an epic one, and the Sick the Mag Ute now has a new owner!

The Chevrolet El Camino was produced in 1959 and 1960, then again from 1964 through 1987. Even though the car-truck combination wasn’t produced in America after that, Austraila didn’t get the memo, as the Holden Ute model was produced up until 2017.

Sick the Magazine chief car buyer Tom Bailey discovered this right-hand drive version, and wasted no time verifying it did solid burnouts. “It’s definitely an Aussie car,” said Tom. “It doesn’t want to do standing burnouts, it wants to use the whole pad.”

After several weeks of chances for people to enter via multiple means, the Ute was displayed for the final time at Sick Summer Presented by Motion Raceworks. All the entries were collected, and a winner was chosen, and that lucky person is Jacob Sperling!!

He won the Ute by purchasing merchandise at the beginning of the contest, as well as the end, taking advantage of the multipliers, including the limited edition ‘El Camino / Ute’ Sick the Mag shirt!

So an epic vehicles has been claimed; what’s next? We have an announcement coming on Monday, July 29th on our next big giveaway!
