The Second Annual Cruise and Lose, the Fourth Drag-And-Drive of 2023, Will Take Place in Iowa and Nebraska This Weekend

The fourth drag-and-drive event of the 2023 season – Cruise & Lose – will visit Nebraska and Iowa for a three-day drag-and-drive weekend from Friday April 21st through Sunday the 23rd.

 

The third sold out event of the drag-and-drive of the season, Cruise & Lose will start at Kearney Race Park in Kearney, Nebraska on Friday with check-in and tech inspection. The participants will then roll from Kearney to Raceway Park of the Midlands in Pacific Junction, Iowa for day one of racing on Saturday April 21st from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Then competitors can follow the event’s specific route and checkpoints back to Kearney Race Park for Sunday, the final day of competition.

The event features four different race classes, all conducted on the eighth-mile standard. A small tire class, limited to a 29.5-inch height x 10.5-inch width slick or 315/60/15 maximum size radial smaller tire, is the lone class based on the quickest average. Three index-based classes are also offered, with a 6.50 index, 7.50 index and 8.50 index class.
