The Final Day: The Swedes Sweep the Top Two Spots, Brett LaSala Ends His Week with 6-Second Passes

The final day at Orlando to wrap up 2023 Sick Week Presented by Gear Vendors Overdrive was full of triumph, but breakage as well.

The overall and Unlimited class leader Michael Westberg got down to business early, nailing a 6.43 at 216 on his first run. Could he run a 6.3-second pass on the truck’s final run before he sent it down the road to a new owner?

Stefan Gustafsson continued to have issues, but got into the sixes. Would it be enough to hold on to second-place overall?

Brett LaSala, already the holder of the quickest drag radial pass on a drag-and-drive, was also looking to possibly snag third overall and one of the coveted Gear Vendor Overdrive guitars. Did he do it?

How did the other class leaders fair? Would their Sick Week have a fairytale ending, or just a trail of broken parts?
