Surrounded by her family, in the comfort of own home, Lizzy was called to heaven at 11:25 p.m. tonight. Thank you for all the prayers and support throughout her battle.

At this time, the family would like to time to p4rocess, grief and make arrangements in peace. We will give an update as soon as we have information to share.

The news impacted hundreds of thousands of fans and fellow racers, as Lizzy had a profound affect from the minute she first stepped into a race car.

She stepped away from Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings on May 24th, after a final round appearance at Empire Dragway. She was a multi-time winner in the popular series, and had also spent time behind the wheel of several Pro Modified rides before moving to the No Prep Kings series.

One of her longtime sponsors, Edelbrock, reflected on the racing community’s loss:

It is with profound sadness that we at the Edelbrock Group extend our heartfelt condolences to Pat and Elizabeth Musi and family on the tragic loss of their beloved daughter, Lizzy Musi.

Lizzy was not only a talented and dedicated racer but also a shining light in the motorsports community. Her passion, drive, and infectious spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Pat Musi has been a longstanding and valued partner of the Edelbrock Group, and we have always admired the exceptional dedication and commitment he and his family have shown to the racing world. Lizzy’s contributions to the sport were significant, and her legacy will continue to inspire future generations of racers.

During this incredibly difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with the Musi family. Lizzy’s memory will forever remain in our hearts.
