Sick Summer 2024 Presented by Motion Raceworks Sells Outs in Nine Minutes, As We Prepare for a Return to the Midwest!
The inaugural Sick Summer Presented by TBM Brakes in 2023 proved to be a hit, with it selling out in a matter of minutes and the epic attractions, drives and fans that got to witness all the competitors and Sick Ward participants visit Illinois, Wisconsin and Iowa.
Tom Bailey declared the initial event a success and vowed to return in 2024. “It was an epic event that it is the coolest event from a fan perspective that I’ve ever been to,” he said. “The amount of support we got from fans on the side of the road holding signs, to the fans support at the tracks.” With that said, tracks were announced and the date set for registration, Saturday December 2nd, 2023.
Once again, the Expression Of Interest forms proved vital with over 1100 forms were submitted. Just nine minutes had elapsed from when registration opened to when the last competitor spots had been purchased for the 2024 edition of Sick Summer Presented by Motion Raceworks.
If you didn’t get a coveted spot before the event was sold out, we invite you to join the wait list HERE. We take dozens of people off the waitlist as registered competitors drop off, and we don’t charge you until a spot opens up and you opt to be a competitor and purchase the entry.
There is also the option to join the Sick Ward, which is just what the doctor ordered for Summer fun in the Midwest! Sick Ward takes all the cool points of a local cruise, and ratches them up to level ten!
Special parking is made just for Sick Ward; No worrying about having to walk a mile to the grandstands to watch the racing, or being stuck in a sea of boring commuter cars. Sick Ward participants also get treated to refreshments, catered meals at select locations, special merchandise, and a whole lot more! REGISTER / FIND OUT MORE ABOUT SICK WARD HERE!
Sick Summer will visit the same four tracks as we did in 2023, but the starting and ending point for 2024 will be Byron Dragway in Illinois. The tour will then head to Cordova Dragway for Tuesday action, Tri-State Raceway on Wednesday, and the popular Great Lakes Dragaway on Thursday.
