Sick Kart Kaos Brings Industry And Racers Together at PRI For Smashing Night

In its inaugural outing, Sick Kart Kaos at Fastimes Indoor Karting proved to be a chaotic and fun way to spend a Thursday night. From hired professional drivers, to lap times bordering the Fastimes’ all-time top ten ranking, to brutal driving with a few bumps and go passes, sixteen teams battled for a share of the posted $2000 purse.

Sick The Mag provided an awesome BBQ dinner and drinks for the night, with participants donning the Sick silk shirts to race in.

In the first group of eight teams, Steve Morris Engines landed in the top spot, followed by the Motortrend team in the number two slot, and third belonged to KSR (Kevin Smith Performance & Fabrication). The final result was somewhat controversial when it was discovered that a driver mix-up in the second stint had Motortrend’s driver in the Steve Morris car!

The results of the second group found CB1 Motorsports finishing number one, in the second spot was Bonnett Race Cars, and Team Millican rounded out the top three.

In the battles for trophies and cash, the team with the least laps was the Summit Racing team, snagging the “Driving Miss Daisy” award. Steve Morris Engines had the second-most laps completed, but CB1 Motorsports rose to the top of the pile, making their way around the track for the most laps completed, edging out Morris by just one lap to win.
