Planning for the 2024 Season – Sick the Magazine-Hosted Events, as Well as a Full 2024 Drag-and-Drive Event Listing

It’s crazy to think that we’re nearing the end of the crazy rollercoaster that was 2023. Over 30 drag-and-drive events, a huge increase over anything we’ve seen before in the arena, and Sick the Magazine covered nearly all of them, on our website news as well as in our quarterly magazine.

But we didn’t stop there; Sick the Magazine made appearances at a few more events in 2023. The Summit Sick Powerfest Presented by M1 Concourse was held on August 11th at M1 Concourse.

With the proceeds of the events going to the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan, a full day at M1 Concourse included a car show, RC Drag Racing competition, drifting competition, nitro cacklefest and a huge burnout competition was viewed by thousands during a warm summer day in Michigan.

Sick also made an appearance the next day at Roadkill Nights, held in nearby Pontiac, Michigan. Tom Bailey’s Durango made its first appearance of 2023, and Tom was joined by Aydan Bailey and several drag-and-drive favorites, making laps on surface streets.

Sick vehicles also made an appearance at SEMA, and are scheduled to be on site for the Performance and Racing Industry (PRI) show on December 7th-9th in Indianapolis.

With 2024 closing in, and the official kick start to the drag-and-drive season, Sick Week Presented by Gear Vendors Overdrive, scheduled for January 28th through February 2nd, 2024, Sick the Magazine has released a schedule of events we will be hosting, as well as a few more we will be in attendance at.

In addition, the 2024 drag-and-drive season already has thirteen events with secured dates, as well as ten more announced for 2024, but waiting on final dates. 23 drag-and-drive events already announced for 2024, nearly on-par with the number we knew about in December of 2022.

Sick the Magazine website now has a listing of drag-and-drive events for 2024 AVAILABLE HERE!
