Death Week Tracks Announced, Pre-Entry Now Open

Death Week is coming to the southwest of America on October 20-29, 2023, traversing some of the most beautiful and extreme landscapes in the country.

What has been billed as the most extreme street car drag racing event ever will start at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Phoenix, Arizona. From there the chaos will roll on to the Barona Drags near San Diego, California, before heading north for the Sequoia National Park and Famoso Dragway in Bakersfield!

Death Week will be a one-off event, never to be repeated. This will be the one you tell your grandkids about.

Next comes the most magnificent yet potentially most devastating part of the drive as we head over the mountains and down into Death Valley, before stopping in at Las Vegas for some cruising on the strip. From there, the Death Weekers will visit the Grand Canyon before the final leg back down to Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park for the last day of competition.

Racing will be over an eighth-mile and there will be no classes. Teams should be prepared for heat, snow, mountains with extreme grades, twisty roads and all the other challenges that scenic drives offer. It’s going to be a drive to remember, but don’t come crying that it’s too tough!

Pre-entries are currently open for those who filled out the Death Week expression of interest form. You can still fill out the form and get early access. Entries open for the general public on August 26.
