Sick Summer Presented by Motion Raceworks Track Shirts Designs Are Finalized – Day 5 and the Overall Design is Revealed - Get Yours Exclusively at Each Track During Sick Summer!

First introduced at Sick Week Presented by Gear Vendors Overdrive in 2022, Sick Week / Sick Summer / Death Week events have all featured limited edition t-shirts for each track day of the event.

Highlighting competitors and entries from past Sick events, the only way to get these shirts is on site at each track on each day! Each day’s track shirt is debuted on that day only, and we only order a limited number to be sold from the Sick the Magazine merchandise trailer.

Sick Summer Presented by Motion Raceworks is just one day away from starting: June 9th-14th!! It’s the drag-and-drive you need to start your summer right: 350 cars, 4 different race tracks, awesome checkpoints, and over 600 miles of street driving! Click here for all the details!

Thanks to our awesome designer Garrett Olsen, each and every shirt features cool and unique looks. Each design also incorporates a “spirit animal / Where’s Waldo?” item; can you find it on each shirt?

For the 2024 edition of Sick Summer Presented by Motion Raceworks, Byron Dragway marks the start and finish point of the week. So as tradition dictates, there will be two different versions of that track on a shirt.

The final day of Sick Summer, Day 5, returns the event to where we started our adventure: Byron Dragway! The final center spot of the final shirt belongs to Eric Burroughs and his 1988 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, which went on a bumper-dragging wheelstand at last year’s Great Lakes Dragaway stop on Sick Summer Presented by TBM Brakes.

On the left side, we see nearly the entire Fox Mustang (minute the last bit of the quarter panel) of 2023’s Sick Summer Stick Shift class winner Jeremy Howell. The opposite side is occupied by another Mustang, this one the front end of the 1996 model of Kyle Morris, who scored a low 8-second average at the 2023 edition of Sick Week.

Now, for the full graphic design from Garrett. After creating the timeline to travel from our starting point at Byron Dragway on Day 1, to Cordova Dragway, then Tri-State Raceway for the mid-point of the week, Great Lakes Dragaway for Day 4, and finally return to Byron Dragway for the fifth and final day. The Garrett sections these into individual shirts for each track.

That wraps it for our look at the individual track shirts. If you’d like to check out designs for Day 1-4: click here for Day 1 and 2, click here for Day 3 and 4.

Remember, each of these unique t-shirts will ‘debut’ at the featured track, and will feature a limited quantity! We sold out of every track shirt at Sick Summer last year, so make sure to get yours as soon as you get through the gates!

The best way to start a fun-filled summer is Sick Summer Presented by Motion Raceworks! 6 days, 4 tracks, over 600 miles, and one hell of a road trip! See the 6-second 200-mph rides of Alex Taylor, Bryant Goldstone, Clark Rosenstengel, Cleetus McFarland, Nick Taylor, and over 300 more street cars and trucks, as they travel the roads and battle on the drag strips, of the Midwest.
