Kelley Brothers Returning to Sick Powerfest to Defend 2023 Burnout Champion Title with a Trio of Supercharged Rides

When one is good, two must be better. And if two is better, then three must be a party, right?

That’s the philosophy that the Kelley brothers bring to burnout contests, and they have a trio of vehicles they are hoping to bring to Sick Powerfest Presented by Dodge and M1 Concourse, including two new ones that we didn’t get to see last year!

Last year, we saw Adam and Jason Kelley hit the ground at M1 Concourse with a pair of Ford F100 pick-up trucks: ‘Burning Green’ and ‘Death Trap.’

The third ride was a big-block Chevrolet supercharged third-generation Camaro they called ‘Bagel’, joining ‘Death Trap’ in the big block Chevrolet-powered section.

At the end of the night, Adam would score the top prize with ‘Burning Green’, the white F100 powered by a LS-based powerplant with a Littlefield 6-71 blower.

Fast forward to 2024, and the brothers now have a couple more rides in the stable, the ‘Crypt Keeper’ 1956 Dodge panel wagon sporting a supercharged Gen 3 HEMI that picked up a $10,000 win in its debut at Burnouts for Kids at Carolina Dragway in December 2023.

The second new ride to the Boosted Ride stable A fifth generation Camaro was purchased in January to not only replace the third-gen version, but with bigger plans in mind.

“It's going to Australia in December this year, so we want to get that ready and get some seat time before it leaves,” said Adam. The car will get a supercharged LS engine for tire-melting duties.

With the addition of two new rides, minus the departure of the third-generation Camaro to the scrap yard, Boosted Ride now has four horses in the stable.

With a three-car trailer, this means unfortunately that one must stay home. “We can't afford and can't haul four rides, so ‘Burning Green’ is on the back burner,” said Adam.

This means we will see a pair of proven and winning supercharged rides: the ‘Death Trap’ big block Chevrolet black F100 pick-up, and the ’56 panel wagon ‘Crypt Keeper’ with the Gen 3 HEMI.

Will the new LS-powered Camaro ‘Murder Hornet’ kick ass right out of the gate for the big prize, or will either the F100 or Dodge panel wagon continue their winning ways?
